before you start
keep the cord unplugged until the lamp is fully assembled. whenever you
change the bulb later, unplug first and let the bulb cool.
thread star nut
screw the star nut down towards the bottom of the socket threads.
assemble base and shade
insert the socket through the bottom of the base and shade.
thread round nut
screw the round nut on the socket threads to ensure a snug fit at the base of the shade.
bulb in, plug in
screw in an led bulb, set the lamp where it lives, plug it in and enjoy.
